Don’t ask me why they would do this but I believe it’s the same for Skyrim too maybe even the older elder scrolls titles and fallout titles like new Vegas and fallout 3. The game engine wasn’t designed for that; it’s likely tied to a fixed timestep that gets thrown out of whack when your rig’s pushing way past the intended refresh rate. . Not a true requirement but will completely negate the extended loading times that come with large mods like UFO. I noticed that my character is running like I have a speed boost/cheat on.
