I would love to be better educated as to why no other apps use I'm on Google Fi, which supports Sprint and T-Mobile, and I received an update that adds RCS features today, 1/16/19, so I would believe that it's supported by T-Mobile. The difference is that RCS is an open standard and Google is artificially restricting a public api to specific vendors. Finally. It is the feature we need right now but do not deserve. Thus, currently on Google Play, the only app to provide RCS functionality is the Messages by Google app. Apple clearly has their own servers, so can implement the universal profile without help, but an app like Textra needs someone else's server.
